Good day, my name is Leslie. I wanted to take a moment to reach out and tell you a little bit about myself, my family, and why I started residential cleaning.
I am a 44-year-old single mom and grandmother. I moved to North Port shortly before my granddaughter was born. I needed something that was a little more affordable than Naples and wanted a house instead of an apartment since I had to find a larger place to make room for the new baby. My family now includes my 3 older kids, Matthew 18, Waylon 19, and Brianna 21. My granddaughter, Braelyn 15 months. We also have Midnight my daughters Belgium who is 2 years old, Panda and Odessey, Panda is a 3-year-old Morkie and Odessey is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix. We also have a foster named Honey with us at the moment who is an approx. 6-month-old Bully mix. My daughter rescues animals and finds them homes and also fosters young dogs on the kill lists as long as they have no violent past. She is in school working towards becoming a Vet Tech so she can open her own rescue down the road.
I started cleaning in 2013 a couple years after my husband passed away. Prior to his death I had been a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom, I had no prior work experience. I had to find a way to support my family though, so I took the skills I had obtained as a homemaker and started doing residential cleaning. I quickly discovered I really enjoyed cleaning houses. Cleaning someone else's house is different and more satisfying than cleaning your own for some reason.
Now that my kids are older, they also have started working with me allowing me to offer other services. For example, Waylon and Matthew help with Pressure Washing, Weeding, Moving furniture and more. Brianna helps me with Cleanings, Window washing, Errands, Organization, Mother's Helper, Pet sitting and Dog walking. Braelyn supervises us all.
